Choosing a therapist: Finding the right therapist isn’t just about credentials or training; it’s also about how you feel in the room with them. I try to ensure that my clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood. Clear, supportive communication and a sense of trust are the foundation for us doing meaningful work together.
Rates: My rate is $175 per 45-minute session. To make therapy more accessible, I reserve a few sliding scale openings for clients who may need financial flexibility; please reach out to inquire about current availability. As of January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act requires providers to offer clients a Good Faith Estimate for the cost of services upon request. Because therapy is highly individualized, the number of sessions will depend on your needs and goals. You are always in control of how many sessions you choose to schedule. For the purposes of an estimate, I use a year estimate of about 48 weeks multiplied by my session fee.
Insurance: I do not accept payment from insurance directly, but my services may still be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Each month, I can send you a superbill that you submit to your insurance company.
Payment: Payment is accepted via cash, credit or debit card, Paypal, Zelle, and Venmo.
Cancellation Policy: I require 48 hours notice for a cancelation, otherwise you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
